Introducing......

I did promise that I would introduce you to the new member of the family.

She is perfect.

Two ears.... two eyes.... four legs......

Yes that is right. I got myself a new hamster recently.

Her name is Phemie (Fee-mee) and she is just so sweet.

She loves grapes, dried coconut and egg. She also seems to like carrot which Zinzan never used to touch.

She is a little mischief too. This is a video of how I found her when I picked the box up from the carseat after driving home with her from the petshop.

Such a sweet wee thing. I'm so glad she is here.

I know. I KNOW!

I started writing an update about all the stuff that I have been up to but it turns out that I've actually been up to a whole ton of stuff and writing it all up is a bit of a daunting task. I'll get round to it eventually. Probably. Maybe. Well, I'll get round to it like I got round to unpacking. From when I came back from America. Nearly a month and a half ago.

You might be waiting a while.

My gallivanting is over for the moment. So now I am making good use of my time by watching the entire first series of Lark Rise To Candleford and Spooks. Incidentally, I really want to borrow Spooks season 2 from Sarah but I had such trouble sleeping after watching the first series that maybe it isn't wise. Oh well, who needs a good nights sleep anyway??

Currently it is Little Dorrit that is gracing my (ahem, my Dad's) laptop screen. So far it is just wonderful. I am totally terrified of Andy Serkis' character though. Maybe I won't sleep after Little Dorrit either.

I'll get back to my travels in my next post...... or maybe I'll tell you about the newest member of the family.......
